We think, design and create with intention, encouraging our consumers to want to wear our pieces to any occasion, whether it be coming back from the beach, social events, on vacation or worn on rotation for everyday.
Our small team is based in Melbourne, Australia and ship worldwide.
At Avah, our commitment to conscious and responsible practices is at the core of what we do. It is our priority to be transparent with our manufacturing and production processes and share every step of our journey with our Avah community.
Avah operates exclusively with our partner, Daisy, and her family-run factory located in Humen Town, just two hours south of Guanzhou in China.
Our close collaboration with Daisy's team began with personal visits to her factory, where we had the privilege of touring the facilities, immersing ourselves in the local community, meeting her dedicated team, and strategising new design developments.
Daisy leads a tight-knit team of 10 individuals, including her brother, who serves as the production manager, her uncle as the skilled patternmaker, and her mother, who meticulously inspects the final products of our garments. Additionally, there are two couples responsible for stitching all the garments and three expert cutters.
As a collective we ensure ethical working conditions across all touch points of the business, meeting industry standards, committing to a safe and healthy environment. These standards are fundamental to our values as a business and we strive to ensure we work with partners who share this commitment.
